A sculptural beauty of this memorable piece comes from a very simple, yet sophisticated juxtaposition of the two complementary parts. They seem to be filled with the air and take off to fly. This contrasts with the solidity of the base, either integrally upholstered with the seat, or made of solid oak wood, or even tubular steel. Inspired by the late 60’s modernism, Kite aims to provoke the emotions but almost effortlessly offers a genuine ergonomics that can be easily deduced from its silhouette.
Kite’s design and functionality complement each other and create a harmonious, meaningful piece of design, out of compromise, with the well thought out application of the contemporary technology.
