SUPERMOON is a light inspired by the movement of the cosmos and my fascination with the moment when two celestial bodies meet along a single axis.

The project explores how a simple geometric relationship can evoke a much larger cosmic phenomenon. SUPERMOON is a lamp inspired by the moment when the geometry of the cosmos becomes perceptible from the human perspective.

Its form emerges from the intersection of two spheres — two seemingly simple volumes whose overlapping creates a dynamic and constantly shifting relationship. This geometry is a reference to the phenomenon of the supermoon, when the Moon reaches the point in its orbit closest to Earth, known as perigee, making its apparent diameter slightly larger than usual when observed from Earth.
